What is it like to raise a mixed race family? NY Metro Parents Magazine recently interviewed me on this topic for their magazine and website.

The article shared the experiences of several New York mixed race families. The author herself has a mixed background and discusses her own experiences growing up half German and half Filipina.

In my interview, I discuss my hopes for my children regarding embracing their heritage. It’s important to me because this was something I initially struggled with as a child before embracing it as an adult. The article also highlighted an odd, uncomfortable incident that took place at the post office when a stranger made a comment about my baby.
