How many times have you waited in line at a doctor’s office just to check in? Or you called the doctor to get information from your medical chart and are put on hold for 15 minutes? Your time is just as valuable as anyone else’s, and having your medical information at the tip of your fingers just makes sense. That’s why I’m so impressed with The Patient Portal at Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care.

Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care, serving families in Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island, and Westchester, is there for you when primary care physicians are unavailable, and the ailment does not warrant an emergency room. Open 7 days a week with after hour care, patients can walk-in immediately or check-in online via The Patient Portal for a large range of non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses for the whole family.

The Patient Portal, available on desktop or mobile, is convenient, easy to use, private, and secure. It allows you to do the following:

  • Visit Summaries: View notes from your provider plus discharge instructions for next step care.
  • Labs/Imaging: View results under the Medical Records Tab.
  • Patient Education: Access educational materials relevant to your visit.
  • Medications: View your current medication details.

It’s easy to sign up for The Patient Portal. After you sign the HIPAA agreement at your appointment and provide your email address, Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care will activate your patient portal. You will receive an email containing a link to your patient portal, including your username and temporary password, or you can go to http://portalny.gohealthuc.com to login in once you are set up. Your Lab and Imaging Results, Visit Summaries, and Education Materials will be available. You’ll even receive email notifications when your portal is updated.

Having access to your personal medical information is your right, and The Patient Portal from Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care gives you that option and more.
