Brrr, it’s cold outside! When that chill creeps in, you could turn up the furnace but it’s going to heat up the entire house which can prove costly. An alternative is to use a space heater to warm up just the area you need.
I tried out the Honeywell EnergySmart 360 Surround Heater in our basement as it’s the one area inside our house without heat. What I liked was its portability and light weight as these made it easy for me to maneuver it. It’s an energy efficient ceramic heater that has the option to target heat 180 degrees or 360 degrees. I could set it on low, high, or auto based on a programmable thermostat and even set a 1-8 hour timer.
An essential aspect of heaters is safety, especially when there are little ones around. This heater had a SafetyTip™ feature which would shut off the heater if it were ever tipped over. There’s also an overheat protection device, and the handle stays cool to the touch to prevent burns.
As for costs, the EnergySmart® Technology regulates power consumption to help save up to 35% on energy bills versus conventional heaters so that’s more money in your pocket. The Honeywell EnergySmart 360 Surround Heater did a great job keeping me warm, and I really appreciated the convenient and smart features it offered.
