Garden Lites Debuts New Pastries with Hidden Veggies

Disclosure: I received Garden Lites coupons. All opinions are my own.

My kids will eat some veggies but they’re usually reluctant. They certainly don’t eat enough of them. That’s why I love it when they eat products with “hidden” veggies. That is, foods they’d usually eat that just happen to have vegetable as additional ingredients.

Garden Lites debuted three new items to join it’s current veggie-infused line of products. All Garden Lites products are rich in vegetables. They’re free of gluten and nuts, are high in fiber, and low in calories. They come in convenient, portable packages that are frozen and can be defrosted in minutes in the microwave. You can also just leave them out to thaw to room temperature.

I gave the new Garden Lites muffins to my kids as a dessert. These items are also a perfect addition in lunch boxes or as an afternoon snack. The muffins were filled with nutrious vegetables like zucchini and carrots. My kids ate them up. I tried them as well, and they didn’t taste too vegetable-like at all. Or course I didn’t tell them about the vegetables mixed in – that’s mom’s secret!

Garden Lites Superfood Veggie Cakes – Superfood Blend and Kale & Quinoa

These Superfood Veggies Cakes are packed with nutrient-rich superfoods. The Garden Lites Superfood Veggie Cakes Superfood Blend includes veggies like kale and cauliflower. The Garden Lites Superfood Cakes Kale & Quinoa are also super nutritious with healthy veggies. They’re all gluten-free, non-GMO and only 100 calories or less. Comes in a package of six veggie cakes for a suggested retail price of $4.99.

Garden Lites Muffins – Banana Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Muffins

Both the Garden Lites Chocolate Muffins and Garden Lites Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins are non-GMO, gluten-free, nut-free and only 120 calories. They’re also a great source of fiber. My kids devoured both of these muffins. They never knew the first two ingredients were zucchini. Each comes in a package of six muffins for a suggested retail price of $4.99.

We enjoyed all the new Garden Lites products, and I’m glad my kids ate some extra vegetables even if they didn’t know it!
