The Universal Problem of Clogged Drains
When it comes to living in a house or apartment, sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference. Clogged drains are not very exciting, but eventually, everyone has to deal with them. No one loves cleaning gross, slimy, plugged up drains.
Years ago we encountered a major bathtub clog. It didn’t help that I had about 2 feet of hair that shed when I showered.

As a result, the drain plug cap just swiveled around hovering above the opening, which meant hair got through. We also could no longer plug the tub to take baths.
We bought one of those traditional tub drain hair catchers that fit over the drain hole, but it didn’t work well. It shifted in the water and allowed hair to slip through. It also got slimy, moldy and was difficult to clean.
