Bicultural Mama Guest Appearance on Yum Chat Asian Food Docuseries – Watch Now

Special Guest Picture with Logo Bicultural Mama

Family and food go hand-in-hand. As such, it was the perfect partnership when Restauranteur Wilson Tang of NYC’s iconic Nom Wah Tea Parlor and I filmed our Yum Chat Asian Docuseries episode. As parents of young children, we both understood how food, family, and traditions all tied together.

I’m thrilled to announce our episode is now live! It’s part of Yum Chat’s 5-part documentary series featuring 5 New York City Asian American chefs and 5 Special Guests. Shown exclusively on the Twin Marquis Facebook Page and YouTube Channel, the chefs and guests come together over one dish to trade kitchen tips, tell their stories, and eat delicious food.

In my episode featuring the theme of Family, Wilson Tang and I make a kid-friendly stir-fry Udon noodle dish with lap cheong (Chinese sausage), Chinese broccoli, and black bean sauce. Together the chefs and I discuss childhood food memories, traditions, and more.
